Last night the team at Econsultancy hosted their annual Innovation Awards – a glitzy, black tie event at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel. The awards celebrate the very best in innovation from across the digital channel, highlighting brands that have “broken a boundary, connected a new set of dots or overturned an apple cart” in the last twelve months.

Following the showcase of an original piece of music and dance from leading hip hop artists Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy and Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante, a whole host of worthy winners collected their trophies, including Net-a-Porter, Vodafone, Majestic Wine and Affiliate Window was delighted to take to the stage for their work with Debenhams on their mobile campaign, which scooped the accolade for Innovation in Affiliate Marketing.

Gill Makepeace, Affiliate Marketing Manager for Debenhams explains;

“We are very pleased to receive further recognition for this campaign. It is a great case study to show the scope of affiliate marketing, proving they can drive serious volumes into stores as well as online. With the advances we are making in mobile too I hope we can further expand on this activity in the future.”

Nick Caulfield, Head of Key Accounts at Affiliate Window adds;

“This award marks a giant leap forward for affiliate marketing. It not only serves to highlight an incredibly well executed multi-channel promotion, it underlines the infinite possibilities available through a diverse and dynamic online channel. Debenhams have now set the standard for innovation.”

Congratulations to the Econsultancy team for a fantastic evening and to all of last night’s winners. To read the full list of 2012 innovators, visit the Econsultancy blog. Or watch Debenhams collecting their award and the official event video below.
