Firstly, let me apologise to all users for some of the issues you have all experienced over the last 24 hours. Yesterday morning we started receiving traffic levels that were way outside of our normal operating parameters, which caused issues serving requests via one of our datacenters.
This caused services such as the interface, datafeeds and the serving of images and banners to be disrupted. While the routing of clickthroughs was prioritised and most of this traffic continued to be supported some users may have experienced issues with clickthroughs. We are still assessing the extent of these issues and will provide a further update to those affected in the coming days.
The source of the disruptive traffic has been blocked out and several preventative measures have been implemented. However, we are continuing to manage abnormal amounts of traffic to the network. Currently all services are up and running, however some limited disruption to services such as the interface may persist today as we work to resolve the issues fully.
