Pets Pyjamas and The Dogs Trust Set Tails Wagging With Charity Exhibition

Written by Jasmin on . Posted in Events

On a rainy March evening, two of the Affiliate Window team were invited to a private viewing of ‘The Company of Dogs’; a collaboration celebrating the relationship of man and his best friend between Pets Pyjamas, The Dogs Trust, and photographer Gerard Gethings, sponsored by Radley.

Gerard has captured 20 beautiful portraits of dogs including those owned by celebrities, and some of those who are waiting to be rehomed by The Dogs Trust. These are all currently being displayed at the Pets Pyjamas HQ, and are all up for auction online with all proceeds going to The Dogs Trust. The free exhibition opened to the public on the 21st of March, and is running until the 29th of March.

The preview evening was full, and of course the stars of the exhibition were out in force, posing with their portraits, snacking on dog friendly canapés, and looking pretty darn cute! Their very proud owners were allowed to come too, and the guest list included journalists, bloggers, models, actors, singers and celebrities, who were all ecstatic to be a part of the Pets Pyjamas charity effort.

Have Your Say At The 2014 Performance Marketing Awards

Written by Jasmin on . Posted in Network News

Every year when planning the year ahead, we always consider the key themes that will influence the work we do.

In 2013 one of those themes was a desire to make being an affiliate easier.

Too often we over-complicate what we do, baffling new entrants to the market with marketing speak, as well as making it hard for normal affiliates to easily do business with us.

2013 therefore saw us take steps to introduce new products, improve our service levels and ensure publishers are rightly receiving commissions for the sales they generate.

With that in mind we’re asking for a minute of your time to consider these when you cast your vote for Industry Choice of Network at this year’s Performance Marketing Awards.

Here’s a quick recap of some of the new products we launched in 2013:

Affiliate Window Launches MyAW
Our new Google Chrome extension for publishers, MyAW adds a button to the Chrome toolbar. Publishers can join programmes, quickly generate shortened tracker links, custom URLs, links to specific product pages, and create ‘one click’ share links on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ all without having to login to the interface.

Affiliate Window goes live!
February saw us launch “publisher live chat” across our interface, integrated directly so there is no need to install any applications or software. The feature is supported by a team of eight during working hours with an average response time of less than one minute.

Mobile transparency
Affiliate Window was the first affiliate network to market with granular level device reporting offering publishers the opportunity to see where their traffic converts.

Publisher protection
A little recognised fact is that it isn’t just advertisers who need protecting from unscrupulous affiliate activity: publishers also lose out when network quality slips. We want to be not just the best in the UK, but the best in the world for our brand protection tools. We continue to invest a six figure sum in our tools and systems including the only automated adware monitoring technology in the market.

2013 also saw the launch of our compliance blog.

White papers and research pieces
We also want to share insight with our partners and released three white papers on mobile, attribution and peak trading periods

Big Brand Launches
2013 saw some of the biggest brands launch programmes on the network across various sectors.  Sports Direct, ASOS, Next, Fortnum & Mason, Hyatt Hotels and British Gas to name a few.

What makes us unique?
Affiliate Window continues to offer greater transparency on performance metrics than any other network, as well as our pioneering payment traffic light system, unique affiliate suspension notice period and our commitment to ensure ethics and transparency sits at the very heart of our business.

Retailers on a high after Fashion Focus 2014

Written by Harri on . Posted in Events

fashionfocus_sideThis year’s Fashion Focus hit dizzying heights at the gorgeous Altitude360, bringing together Affiliate Window’s fashion retailers and publishers for a chance to network and window shop. 32 brands showcased their latest products to a range of the top 200 and fashion specific publishers.

Our fashion Vertical Specialist, Vivien Man hosted the event and was on hand to dish out advice on optimising fashion campaigns in the performance channel. Account Director, Aimee Cook presented some fantastic retail statistics as well as her insights on what the future of the industry holds. Our guest speaker, Alex Emberey of ShopStyle talked us through the online retail journey, blog 4and understanding how online shoppers make their all-important shopping cart purchases.

The expo and networking sessions then commenced, and our retailers went all out with their creative and eclectic stands. We knew from last year that Boohoo.com would be bringing the wow factor with their pastel hued stand, and darling lemonade bottles, and they didn’t let us down. A whole array of retail delights were showcased including Clarks newest footwear range, Fashion Eyewear’s designer sunglasses and racks upon racks of on-trend clothing from names such as Dorothy Perkins, Zalando, Marks & Spencer, T.M.Lewin and The White Company.

The evening was brought to a close with our charity raffle in aid of The Encephalitis Society, which raised £162. All prizes were kindly donated by Blog 1brands at the event, including Clarks, Boden, Joe Browns, Fashion Eyewear and Baukjen. We would like to extend a massive thank you for the generous contributions.

Finally, thanks you to everyone who attended and made Fashion Focus a success.
