To coincide with a key period in the weight-loss calendar, Weight Watchers and Affiliate Window hosted a Webinar for their publishers on 23rd January 2014. This was hosted via a Google Hangout by Olivia Wise, the Affiliate Window Account Executive for the brand and Audrey O’Brien, Head of Online at Weight Watchers UK. A special mention goes out to Lina Gomes, Digital Campaign Manager at Weight Watchers UK for her part in helping organise the webinar. With an overarching purpose of engaging more with our publishers, the objective of this session was twofold: firstly, to provide valuable information around the Weight Watchers brand and secondly, to offer insight into both current campaigns and those exciting plans for the year ahead. Olivia introduced Audrey to the publishers attending the Webinar with Audrey then talking through the history and focus of Weight Watchers. Weight Watchers are a global and ethical brand with their approach being a simple one. They recognise that weight loss is about more than just individual willpower, it is also about supporting, inspiring and motivating members. The brand is keen to stay ahead of the curve by continually giving the customer something fresh and exciting by developing their plans/products based on the latest thinking and science. Additionally, the products and programmes do not set members apart from family and friends but rather offer an inclusive opportunity for everyone to be involved in.
