Supergames Team Profile: Zanox

SuperGames_logoJPEG Exactly two weeks until this year’s SuperGames. We’re getting amped, and thought we would let our parent company Zanox into the mix to show off their skills… do you think you can beat the bionic man?

Team Composition: 7 dudes, 1 chick
Most Unbeatable Player: David James and his bionic leg

Q. Who is your sporting inspiration? / Which sports people do you hope to emulate across the tournament?
A. AC Slater – Wrestling team was never the same after he left.

George Best  – He once quoted “I spent 90 percent of my money on women and drink. The rest I wasted”

Q. Aside from SuperGames, what is your favourite sporting event of the year?
A. The World Beer Cup

Q. In which of the five sports to do you expect to gain the highest and lowest points?
A. We never lose at anything…Bowls is our specialty though.

Q. Does anyone in your team have previous sporting experience that they will be drawing on across SuperGames?
A. Mikey acted as treasurer for Stanford 20/20.

Ollie has been involved in several Snooker and Darts betting schemes. With almost unexplainable success.

Q. What is your team’s greatest sporting achievement to-date? This can be as a team, or an individual within the group?
A. Mikey is a hockey Champion and has played for the England University team, he is very dangerous with his stick

Richard Parsons can eat 6 Jacobs crackers in under a minute (a record he still holds at Newcastle University)

David James has a bionic leg and no idea how to use it.

Tom can dribble with his right hand and dribble with his left hand. Hes amphibious.

Q. Describe your team in three words
A. Where’s the bar

Q. The New Zealand All Blacks intimidate their opponents with the now famous Haka war dance. Why should other SuperGames teams fear you?
A. Poor knowledge of the rules…

Q. How will you be training for the challenges of SuperGames?
A. First one to the boozer…

Q. Who would you love to see commentating on SuperGames?
A. Joris Cretien – he’s French

Q. Which song would be your team’s anthem?
A. Europe – The Final Countdown

SuperGames_logoJPEGIt’s all kicking off now in the run up to SuperGames with a great team profile to start with.  We put it to GDM to see if they think they have what it takes to become SuperGames 2013 Champions… we’re pretty confident of their chances judging from their answers below.

Q. Who is your sporting inspiration? / Which sports people do you hope to emulate across the tournament?
A. Diego Maradona

Q. Aside from SuperGames, what is your favourite sporting event of the year?
A. The Hunger Games

Q. In which of the five sports to do you expect to gain the highest and lowest points?
A. Highest: Football       Lowest: Golf

Q. Does anyone in your team have previous sporting experience that they will be drawing on across SuperGames?
A. Molly ‘Saucy Trim’ Gregory won ‘Pass the Bomb’ at the staff Christmas Party. She destroyed the field.

Q. What is your team’s greatest sporting achievement to-date? This can be as a team, or an individual within the group?
A. Ryan ‘Ry Rage’ Turner took on the Bucking Bronco at the Affiliate Window ‘Mythica’ event and unseated the bull.

Q. Describe your team in three words
A. Guns. Drugs. Money.

Q. Mo Farah is famous for his Mobot pose, Usain Bolt for his lightening pose. Do your team have any celebratory plans up their sleeve?
A. We dont wear sleeves.

Q. The New Zealand All Blacks intimidate their opponents with the now famous Haka war dance. Why should other SuperGames teams fear you?
A. We give our opponents tickets to the Gun Show. This is not a metaphor.

Q. How will you be training for the challenges of SuperGames?
A. Bribing referees.

Q. Who would you love to see commentating on SuperGames?
A. The guy from the Ladbrokes commercial. That would be Fantastico.

Q. Which song would be your team’s anthem?
A. Megadeath – Guns, Drugs and Money.

Blogger Training: Calling all Budding Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle bloggers!
